This clip shows a STEM Outreach program I delivered while teaching at Launceston Church Grammar School, alongside my colleague and Lab-Tech extraordinaire, Karen Witt. It was an amazing opportunity to work with students from many primary schools in northern Tasmania.

Antarctic sailing is one of my passions. This clip by WIN News Tasmania is about an expedition I led to the Ross Sea. Without a doubt, it was the hardest trip I’ve ever done. 35 days at sea, most of the weather was bad and long periods without realistic hope of rescue. Definitely type II fun!

I’ve led six expeditions to Nepal for students. One to the Annapurna region and the others to the Everest region. In November 2024, I lead another expedition.
