    Antarctic sailing is one of my passions. This clip by WIN News Tasmania is about an expedition I led to the Ross Sea. Without a doubt, it was the hardest trip I’ve ever done. 35 days at sea, most of the weather was bad and long periods without realistic hope of rescue. Definitely type II fun!

  • Expedition Class - Trek to Everest

    I’ve led six expeditions to Nepal for students. One to the Annapurna region and the others to the Everest region. In November 2024, I lead another expedition. The link provided is for an expedition blog that was hosted by Expedition Class. Initially, we used satellite link to maintain a “Live” Blog, later Cell Towers made connectivity much easier.
